Azul Beach Negril
As much as I wish to travel the world and visit many different destinations, I must say returning to a familiar vacation spot has its benefits. Especially if the past trips you had to that location hold a special significance for you as Negril does for us. We were thrilled when Exotic Travelers added a resort in Negril, Jamaica. Jamaica is our favorite island and we have taken seven trips there. Our first trip was our honeymoon to Negril. Although we have since taken several all-inclusive vacations, we have never traveled as fabulously as we do traveling as Exotic Travelers.
Butler service fully stocked in-suite minibar, and private airport transfers just to name a few of the luxury amenities we now get. Best of all we get 60% off rack rates on our vacation. I have reached out to my travel concierge to find out how I can offer my readers the same incredible travel experience at our member’s price. Read on for my review of Azul Beach Negril your you chance to travel like us!
You got in my feelings…
Returning to the place we had our honeymoon gave me a rush of loving emotions. I truly felt the newlywed vibes all over again. Also, since we had done the most popular excursions on previous trips such as Dunn’s River Falls and Catamaran cruise we didn’t feel the pressure to book up our stay with activities. The other advantage of traveling to Jamaica is that there is no language barrier for Americans.
Jamaicans do speak Patois, an English based creole dialect. Our butler Shelly taught us a phrase. Instead of saying What’s going on? Patois removes the at of what, and the ing of going. And then they add the on to the go of going. “Wh go’on.” That just made my day, they can’t be bothered with those word endings. That’s just one example of why I love this culture, it is so laid back and easy.
When I first heard of butler service I thought it was so over the top and unnecessary. However, once you have this kind of attentive service you get it, it’s so necessary. Shelly was our butler at Azul Beach and she was hands down the best we have ever had. She went above and beyond our expectations to make our stay extra special. Shelly arranged all our dinner reservations including a candlelit dinner on the beach.
Special touches like switching out the stocked mini fridge with our preferred drink choices. Shelly surprised us the last night with rose petals in the room and a cake that said safe travels. There was so much attention to detail and I truly appreciated her efforts. On our anniversary, she tapped into her contact list and helped to arrange our private boat tour and snorkeling excursion, you can read about it here.
The Resort Review
I loved the three paned mirrors in the sitting area of our suite. Our balcony was right over the swim up bar. It was a good location directly behind the preferred club beach area. The beach butler allowed us to pick a beach cabana and chairs which were ours for the duration of our stay. The king bed was comfortable and we got a daybed on our balcony to lounge on. His and her closets was a nice touch. The only complaint I would have for the royal suite was the shower tended to leak water from under the glass door. Our room number was 11201. Now let’s get to the review.
